Andres, not sure what exactly happened. Every evening I load up the Garmin with the next day's route per the cue sheets. Right after our lunch stop we followed Route 141 and missed our left turn to get us to Woodward via the backroads. When I realized we were way beyond the turn I decided to keep going and follow the road signs to Woodward. Apparently Garmin didn't like me freelancing off the programmed route. Also there was the issue of Mike taking a "nature break" in Woodward and me going back to find out what happened to him. Meanwhile my Garmin was making all sorts of noises (beeps) so reset it with the day's route...getting it back on track east of Woodward.
Noticed some interesting off-roading through the farm fields near Woodward IA. Is the Garmin feeling the heat as well?
